Our primary, annual fundraising events, the IFEA Foundation Silent & Live Auctions are an all-important source of support that allows us to confidently provide convention scholarships to many new and aspiring professionals who will become the next generation of industry leadership and to those deserving organizations working to build a solid and successful foundation for their festivals, events and communities. The funds raised also support our capabilities to provide and host top-quality industry presenters, speakers and programming, helping us to raise the bar for everyone in our global industry.
Both auctions take place during the IFEA's annual Convention, Expo & Retreat, held during the fall each year, starting with the Silent Auction displayed the first two days of the event and culminating with the Live Auction at the IFEA Foundation Night Party on the second night of the event.
Beginning with an ‘Opening Reception’ followed by a sit-down, interactive dinner with special friends from around the world, this special evening will be interspersed with bidding on a selected menu of once-in-a-lifetime experience packages, helping us to reach our annual goal of exceeding the previous year’s success.
