Welcome to the New IFEA Website!

On behalf of the IFEA and our combined Boards and Staff, I would like to welcome you to our new IFEA World website and to say a very special ‘thank-you’ to all those on the Saffire team who have played so many important roles in helping us to build the foundations from which we can continue serving and connecting our global industry for many years to come. As you have the opportunity to explore the site you will find many new levels of functionality, connectivity and information, all presented at the high level of professionalism and friendliness that we hope the IFEA represents around the world.

We often note to those in our industry, that the better you do your jobs, the easier it looks to those you serve. That theory has never been more true than with the efforts and end results provided by Saffire. They truly listened to our vision and goals and worked with us along every step of the process to help us through a journey that found us navigating unfamiliar turf on a highly inflexible timeline. While I am confident that you will find the results visually obvious, there is so much more going on ‘behind-the-curtain’ that will make the site far more functional for all of our visitors, while enhancing many times over our ability to meet both the current and future needs of all those we serve.

By plan and by nature of the constantly changing needs of the industry that we serve, there are still some functions and capabilities that we are completing, testing and fine-tuning, along with many others that we hope to create and add in the months and years ahead, with the support of Saffire. It was important to us to try and get the new site up and operational leading into our upcoming IFEA 59th Annual Convention & Expo in Kansas City, Missouri, USA this September 29th – October 1st. For now, if you find a link that we missed, or a piece of information that is not yet updated, please understand and help us to find those. Looking to the future, we encourage you to help us imagine what else the site could offer and provide to make it the most powerful hub in our global industry. With your imagination, our commitment and Saffire’s extraordinary capabilities, I am confident that we can achieve great things.

The IFEA is fortunate to count Saffire as one of only four sponsors at our ‘Association Endorsed Partner’ level. To raise their own bar, they have uniquely chosen to focus directly on the events industry, choosing to learn about our needs, our challenges and our opportunities. I would encourage each of you to talk with them firsthand about what they might do for your own events, organizations and online presence.

Do you love the amazing images on the front page of our website as much as we do?  We have you to thank for that!  All of the images are from IFEA Member festivals and events around the world, just like yours!  If you hover in the top right corner of each image, you'll discover the name and location of each photo - along with a link to their website if available. 
 
If you'd like to submit photos of your festival or event to be displayed on the IFEA Website, please contact Craig Sarton, Creative Director at craig@ifea.com or +1-208-433-0950 ext: 819.  Please, note: IFEA reserves the right to make all final selections regarding which photos appear on the IFEA website.

Additionally, by submitting a photo to be used on the IFEA Website, you automatically grant the IFEA the right to use this photo on the Website, in addition to any other editorial/promotional location without additional compensation. (Please make sure you have the rights to all photos submitted.)  The submission of your photo to the IFEA is acknowledgement of these terms.

There are many great features about our new website – one of them being an extensive IFEA Member section, providing detailed information on everything from Member Benefits, complete issues of “ie” magazine, IFEA Templates and Survey Results in addition to accessing the member section of the IFEA Shop where Members are able to purchase everything at a discounted member rate.

If you are a member and would like to log-in to the site, please use your email address (associated with your IFEA Membership) in addition to your password.
