To comply with the new EU legislation known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we must now ask all of our European contacts for your clear permission (Opt-In) to continue sending you those resources.

Statement of Understanding

I give permission to the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), including their official affiliates (such as IFEA Europe) to send me any communications; publications; newsletters; resource and benefit updates; program and resource marketing materials; membership and annual renewal information; and other communications (including from selected IFEA sponsors and industry suppliers) which they feel may be of interest to me in my professional capacity, as part of the global festivals and events industry. Additionally, if attending an IFEA Convention, Seminar, Webinar or other IFEA function, I give permission to the IFEA to include my name and contact information on the attendee list for the Convention.

I understand that the IFEA will keep my contact information (data) and a history of my participation in association programs, in a secure and protected manner, that can be easily deleted upon my request, at any time. IFEA will share with me what information they may have about me upon request, at no charge, should I ever need it. IFEA stores basic contact information and records of payment, but does not store or keep credit card or other trackable financial information, after payment has been confirmed.
