IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition to Return in 2022

Thank you for your interest in the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing patience and support while we continue to navigate through this historic and incredibly challenging time for our world and the festivals and events industry. With the Annual IFEA Convention, Expo & Retreat, presented by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance moving to 2022, we have made the decision to move the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition in the same direction.

Based on our research, we have found that dedicated staff time and financial resources are not readily available to put entries together to submit at this time for the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition as many have had to lay off or furlough staff and/or have had their budgets severely limited or cut completely. Additionally, many around the world who have entered the competition before, are still unable to produce their festivals/events or are under restrictions as to how they may proceed. The future appears to be slowly brightening, and while the return to full capacity live events is likely to take longer than we all would prefer, we look forward to the momentum building and to celebrating that comeback safely together.

The IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Award Competition strives to recognize the best of the best and we don’t want to lower that bar when not everyone is able to enter. In order to create a fair competition for all who enter, the Pinnacles will move to 2022 when more festivals & events around the world will be able to be presented in as close to normal scale as possible and compete once again.

For the lucky few that have not been affected by the Pandemic and were able to hold their events, and for those who were affected and have had to either create a hybrid version of your event, or unfortunately cancel or postpone, we know you have created some amazing promotions and programs to support your festival/event and keep your community engaged during this time. We always want to recognize amazing achievements, and we will, when the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition returns in 2022!

Until then, please keep potential Pinnacle entries in your thoughts as you move forward this year in whatever capacity your event is able to be presented, and we’ll work on creating some new categories to recognize all the spectacular things you have been doing.

We look forward to celebrating with you next year with the 2022 IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Competition!

IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Budget Categories

All Pinnacle entries are not only separated in to 70 individual categories, but also into four individual budget categories within each category. This is to ensure that like sized festivals & events compete against like sized festivals & events. A Gold, Silver and Bronze winner is then selected within each budget category within an individual category. Therefore, there could ultimately be four Gold winners, four Silver winners and four Bronze winners within an individual Pinnacle Category.

The specific budget category you enter is based on your Organization's events expense budget. Budget categories are as follows:
