2019 Pinnacle Awards

To Be Judged Soon . . .

The deadlines have passed, the entries are in . . our office is crammed packed of posters, t-shirts, videos, brochures and everything else in between, from Festivals & Events around the world! We're frantically going through all the entries now - checking budget categories, entering the information and preparing everything for the judges. It's not long now til Judging Day!

So what's the next step in the Pinnacle Process? Well, after the entries are judged, they'll be checked and checked again to make sure the items we say won - really did! Once that is all confirmed, notifications will go out to all the winners of a Pinnacle Award on August 20th, letting you know you won "something." Sorry, we can't tell you what you won, what place you received, what category you may have won in, or even how many you have won . . . it's all Top Secret until the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Presentation on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the IFEA’s 64th Annual Convention, Expo & Retreat in Colonial Williamsburg, VA.

So sit tight for a few weeks as we get the judging underway!

IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Budget Categories

All Pinnacle entries are not only separated in to 69 individual categories, but also into four individual budget categories within each category. This is to ensure that like sized festivals & events compete against like sized festivals & events. A Gold, Silver and Bronze winner is then selected within each budget category within an individual category. Therefore, there could ultimately be four Gold winners, four Silver winners and four Bronze winners within an individual Pinnacle Category.

The specific budget category you enter is based on your Organization's events expense budget. Budget categories are as follows:

Under $250,000
$250,000 to $1 Million

$1 Million to $3 Million
Over $3 Million
