Professional Networking

One of the best parts of any convention is the chance to spend some special time with friends, reconnecting, looking ahead, planning that next great idea, or just sharing a laugh. The IFEA Annual Convention & Expo provides plenty of opportunities for those special informal gatherings.
The popular "Connections" International Café is open throughout the day during convention, providing coffee and a relaxing atmosphere conducive to doing business one-on-one or simply catching up. Promoting human connections, not cyber ones, this comfortable venue is sure to be a popular hangout, providing daily schedule updates and announcements, job postings, member marketing materials, special opportunities to meet with our international attendees, and above all, a chance to renew those connections that are so important to us all.

Where else can you, in one place and at one time, be exposed to such IFEA members and industry icons as those representing the Walt Disney Co., the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Winterlude, the Kentucky Derby Festival, Rotterdam Festivals, the Alamo Bowl, the Shanghai International Arts Festival, Canada Day, the Portland Rose Festival, the City of Belfast, Las Vegas Events, the Olympics, the Sausalito Arts Festival, the Dubai Desert Rock Festival, Hobart Summer Festival, Fiesta San Antonio, the Indianapolis 500 Festival, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and other festival & event directors from North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and more? Start building/adding to your professional network today.

The dfest(tm)/Dixie Flag Event Servies Team Hospitality Suite, sponsored by long-time IFEA supporter Dixie Flag, is as much a part of the IFEA Convention as the sessions. Beginning the first night through to the last day, Dixie Flag welcomes convention attendees each evening for a time to unwind, relax and connect outside of scheduled sessions and functions. Historically, Dixie Flag has become known as the hub of the IFEA convention networking system.
