2009 IFEA/Zambelli Fireworks Volunteer of the Year Winner

The International Festivals & Events Association and Zambelli Fireworks Internationale are pleased to announce Gayl Doster from Music for All in Indianapolis, Indiana, as the recipient of the 2009 IFEA/Zambelli Fireworks Internationale Volunteer of the Year Award.
 
Through his dedicated service and commitment, Gayl has been an integral part of Music for All for the past 12 years.  As this year's winner, Gayl was the guest of the IFEA and Zambelli Fireworks Internationale at the IFEA's 54th Annual Convention & Expo, September 21-25, 2009 in his home town of Indianapolis, Indiana where he was recognized and presented with his award during the IFEA Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, September 23, 2009.

The late George Zambelli, of Zambelli Fireworks Internationale and sponsor of the award since its inception in 2001, summed it up well when he said "imagine a world without the great blessing of volunteers, it would be a far different place. God bless them all."  Please join us in  Indianapolis this year, to help us celebrate this great honor with Gayl.

As you take a moment to read about the 2009 IFEA/Zambelli Fireworks International Volunteer of the Year, why not take a moment to think about your own volunteers.  They all deserve to be recognized just for the fact they're volunteering!  But is there anyone who stands out above the rest, goes that extra mile to help you and your event?  Stays long after the event has drawn to a close to help clean up and make sure things get put away?  Someone that just makes your life easier, just by volunteering to help your event!  You thank them every day for all their hard work . . .but wouldn't it be great if they could be thanked by the entire events industry.
