That's right - we're rolling out the welcome mat and inviting you all to attend this spectacular event at the home of the IFEA's World Headquarters!“We are very pleased to bring the IFEA Convention & Expo to Boise,” said IFEA President/CEO, Steve Schmader, CFEE. “It is a great opportunity to introduce the international festivals and events industry to Boise and to provide such an occasion for Boise and Idaho events, volunteers, sponsors, government and tourism officials, media and more to meet and mingle with the very best in our industry. Boise is a city that has certainly been supportive of many events over the years and what better chance to shine a positive spotlight on both the city and state than to bring our annual convention here. I am confident that everyone will help us to welcome our professional peers from around the world to Boise with the warmth and spirit that have become our calling card.”
Taking place at the Boise Centre on the Grove, attendees will have the option of staying at The Grove Hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites and Hotel 43. Pre and post convention attendees will be able to enjoy Boise’s “Art in the Park” and “Hyde Park Street Fair” events, as well as “Alive After Five” midway through their visit.
52nd Annual IFEA Convention & Expo A Success
With a thunderous firework spectacular by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale lighting up the Atlanta Skyline, the IFEA's 52nd Annual Convention & Expo presented by Festival Media Corporation went off with a bang this past September 2007! From sampling Coca-Cola products from around the globe at our opening reception at the New World of Coca-Cola, to our popular Foundation Events offering an evening with the aquatic world at the Georgia Aquarium and a booming night at Centennial Olympic Park - the sights, sounds and tastes of Atlanta were most definitely experienced by all in attendance! During the daylight hours - educational sessions, networking, exchanging of ideas and creative thinking were abound during the many presentations, workshops, panels and keynotes. Awards were presented during Wednesday's Award Ceremonies and business was thriving Thursday and Friday during the busiest Expo ever!
The IFEA would like to thank all of you who were in attendance at the convention in addition to a special thank you to all who contributed their time, resources and efforts in making the convention such a great success!
