As a professional in your field, you understand the importance and return on your investment of being actively involved in supporting the growth and continued success of our common industry. The IFEA Foundation offers a number of ways to get involved. We invite you to consider those on this page (below) and others to come.

Volunteer

Like most of the organizations in our business, the IFEA Foundation depends on volunteers to make it all work. Ongoing needs for people interested in helping to run on-site Foundation events during the IFEA Annual Convention, including ticket sellers, auction hosts, bid spotters, auction check-out assistance, and other needs, are always appreciated. Additionally, callers who can help to contact potential auction package donors throughout the year are critical to our success.

Of course, financial donations are the ultimate goal of the IFEA Foundation and there are a number of ways that you can do this:

Include a Gift with Your Annual IFEA Membership Dues: Simply fill in the IFEA Foundation donation line on your new or annual renewal IFEA membership form and you can make a cash donation at the same time. Any amount is appreciated. Our goal is to have 100% of the IFEA membership supporting the Foundation, as this makes a highly positive statement to other outside donors if they see the desire to support our own industry.

Donate to an Existing Endowment Fund or Create Your Own: IFEA endowment funds help to secure the future of the IFEA. Current endowments supporting scholarships, educational speakers, technology, parade training and more can grow through your generous support. Many of these named endowments honor some of icons of our business and you may want to donate a gift in their honor and/or remembrance. If you are interested, the IFEA Foundation staff can also talk to you about how to create a named endowment of your own. Make a General Donation to the Foundation

Make an In-Kind Donation: In-kind donations of trips, airline tickets, VIP packages to your event, vacation packages, special collector's items, services and products, and other special memorabilia that can be auctioned off as part of our annual Silent or Live Auction play a very important part in our fund-raising efforts. Attend and Participate in IFEA Foundation Auctions and Events: Each year during the annual IFEA Convention the IFEA Foundation holds a fun-filled Auction Night Party and other special events. Besides being an anticipated centerpiece for fun and networking, they also provide the Foundation's largest annual income source. You'll find the best values and most exciting opportunities for sale at the annual IFEA Foundation Auction, including great deals and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like trips to the Kentucky Derby Festival, Indianapolis 500 Festival, Iditarod, Singapore, Europe and more. Or maybe you prefer to purchase a fireworks shows, banner package or giant parade inflatables at great prices while helping a great cause. Tickets to IFEA Foundation events are separate from your IFEA Convention registration, but can be included by simply checking the box on your registration form and including it in your total convention package.

During the year, the IFEA Foundation may also offer other special opportunities to support the cause. Keep your eye out for these through the IFEA web site and Weekly Update electronic member newsletter. No matter how you participate, you are benefiting a great cause at the same time and the return on your support can be seen in almost every IFEA educational program or resource.
