New Professional Education
IFEA's New Professionals education, offered at the Annual Convention, is the perfect opportunity to get an introduction into the Festivals & Events Industry. Great for new staff members, University Students/Graduates, those new to the IFEA Convention/Event Industry or anyone looking for a refresher course in the critical skills needed for success in today's Festival & Evens Marketplace. And while not mandatory, the New Professionals Seminar is a recommended course to take prior to entering the IFEA Certification process.
Designed as a one-day introduction to the special events industry, led by some of the top professionals in the field, the course covers 4 key areas:

- Successful Media Relations
- The Basics of Successful Sponsorship
- Event Operations & Planning
