Professional Certification (CFEE) Classes
Sponsored by K&K Insurance, the IFEA's Certified Festival & Event Executive (CFEE) certification sessions will be held on Monday, September 8th and Tuesday, September 9th, prior to the official start of the convention. Classes are taught by leading professionals in our field and are a required component toward the achievement of professional certification, but are open to all who desire to attend. The "back room" operations of event-producing organizations are not often considered "sexy"; however, this in-depth session will unravel some of the mysteries of running a successful event business and promises to add "pizzazz" to your business strategies and administrative techniques. We'll explore the in's and out's of managing a board of directors, producing a winning business plan, identifying budget targets and making them work, establishing market plans, identifying competition and establishing a business paradigm that will give more "gravitas" to your organization.
