Welcome to IFEA's U.S. Region 2 - a region that stretches from historic Virginia to the sunny Florida Keys, and from the gulf shores of Mississippi to the mountains of Kentucky and all points in between.
I have personally been associated with the IFEA since 1988 in my previous position as special event coordinator for the City of Marietta, Georgia, and have always been impressed with the professionalism and eagerness to assist that the association has shown. As a part of the IFEA team myself now, I enjoy putting that same dedication and enthusiasm to work for festival and event professionals in this area, who may also grow and benefit from IFEA's many programs, services and extensive network.
Festivals and events have always been and will continue to be, activities that people seek out to enjoy and reenergize themselves with and to celebrate their local communities. How much they put into exploring and participating in an event though determines how good their experience will be. The same is true for IFEA.
